"Keinuen" (Swinging) is a playful bench, with a strong presence of the liveliness and flexibility of wood. Balancing with lightness and an impression of an object whose shape is reminiscent of a massive tree trunk. The sculptural form highlights the characteristics of wood by presenting the material it self as it is: living and flexible. Giving freedom for the user to gently move and to discover new possibilities of the bench. The object opens a nonverbal communication where the users live together through the delicate balance of the object. A feeling of being part and finding gentle movement, where trust is measured.
